Access Control
Kohost makes it easy to control who has access to various areas of the school. You can lock or unlock doors remotely, or view access logs for added security. Teachers might also have control over certain doors, such as those to a specific wing or classroom, enhancing safety without needing physical keys.
How to control your doors:
In your Kohost Homepage, click My Classroom.
Click the Doors Section.
Click "Select a room" in the top right of your screen and select the area you would like to control.
Toggle between lock and unlock with the toggle switch.
Under each door name, choose the state you would like the door to be in.
Normal: Doors will stay unlocked until moved out of that state.
Auto Lock: Doors lock after a set amount of time automatically.
Control all locks in your room or zone with one click at the bottom with "All Unlock", "All Lock", or putting them into Normal or Auto Lock mode.
If either "All Unlock" or "All Lock" is displayed in blue, the entire room is in that state.
Full Building Control:
In the "Select a room" dropdown, select Building.
View the state of every zone from one interface instead of switching between them.
Control all locks in your building with one click at the bottom with "All Unlock", "All Lock", or putting them into Normal or Auto Lock mode.
If either "Building On" or "Building Off" is displayed in blue, the entire building is in that state.
