Climate Control

With Kohost’s HVAC control, you can easily adjust the temperature in your classroom or designated area. Whether you need to cool things down or warm them up, the system allows you to make real-time adjustments to ensure comfort without needing to call the office. Administrators can also control temperature across multiple zones, optimizing energy use while keeping everyone comfortable.

How to control climate

1. In your Kohost Homepage, click My Classroom.

2. Click the Climate Section.

3. Click "Select a room" in the top right of your screen and select the area you would like to control.

4. Select mode and choose fan setting at the bottom of the screen.

5. Drag either the top temperatures or the slider to adjust setpoint.

6. View the current temperature in that room below the slider. 

7. The color of the screen can help differnetiate which mode the thermostat is in.

   • Blue=Cool

   • Red=Heat

   • Black=Auto

   • Dim=Off

Full Building Control:

1. In the "Select a room" dropdown, select Building.

2. Control every room in your building at once with one click by controlling from the Building zone interface.

3. View the current average temperature in the building below the slider.

4. Select mode and choose fan setting at the bottom of the screen to set entire building at once.

5. Drag either the top temperatures or the slider to adjust setpoint for the entire building at once.
