PA System Control

Whether it’s for school-wide announcements or emergency alerts, Kohost’s PA system control allows you to easily broadcast messages across campus. Teachers can use the PA system in classrooms or specific areas, while administrators can make announcements from anywhere, ensuring timely communication for everything from daily updates to urgent safety information.

How to control your PA System:

1. In your Kohost Homepage, click PA System.

2. View the current status of your Announcements in the middle.

   • Grey Play Sign means nothing is being broadcasted.

   • Green Animation means there is a current announcement or chime.

Presets:

1. At the bottom left, choose Presets.

2. Choose your preset sound by simply tapping which to play.

3. The screen will go green until the sound is done playing.

Quick Page:

1. At the bottom right, select "Quick Page".

2. Type your desired message and Kohost will convert it to speech.

3. Choose Select an output and decide where you want the message broadcasted.

4. Drag the slider with the play button to the right and the animation will turn green to let you know it is being played.
